Slick Transport have the opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our team for July 2026 onwards.
You will oversee 9 delivery routes across Exeter and Bridgwater, ensuring safe, efficient and customer-focused operations while supporting business growth. We provide comprehensive training and offer plenty of support to enable you to succeed.

- Monitor KPIs and customer service.

- Full UK Driving Licence - held for minimum 1 year with a maximum of 6 penalty points
- English speaking to a competent level and the right to work in UK
- Based within reasonable commuting distance of Exeter (EX5) and Bridgwater (TA6), with the flexibility to travel between sites (45 mins drive) when required.
- Physically fit and able to safely lift and move parcels weighing up to 25kg in line with manual handling guidelines.
- Comfortable using handheld scanning devices and supporting drivers with parcel scanning, sorting and loading activities when required.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel, Word and Outlook) and Google Workspace (including Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs and Google Drive), with the ability to produce reports, manage operational data and communicate effectively.
- Previous experience in transport, logistics or courier operations.
- Confident leading teams and managing driver performance.

PM Driver - 3.5T LWB Van - JUL 2026 worcester/gloucester
Slick Transport have the opportunity for a PM driver to join our team for July 2026.
You will be driving around a set route with no more than 4 stops per day, and a maximum of 25kg per parcel.
We are looking for a driver available (Monday – Friday), with the potential to increase hours and days per week going forward.
We are providing work on a self-employed basis; this allows you flexibility to fit our work around your other work and commitments to suit your needs. We take care of the fuel, insurance and maintenance of the fleet so you can concentrate on the driving.
Previous delivery driving experience is preferred but not essential. We provide comprehensive training before you are on the road by yourself and offer plenty of support to enable you to succeed.
Key Points
- Monday – Friday availability
- 15.45pm Start (Afternoon)
- Based on a 7-9hr Shift – you can clock out earlier as long as all duties are completed
- Urgent Consignment bulk work: Collecting and Delivering up to 200 boxes mainly from an A to B point
- Overtime available
- Weekly pay (2 weeks in arrears)
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence - held for minimum 1 year with a maximum of 6 penalty points
- Ideally previous experience driving LWB 3.5T vans
- English speaking to a competent level and the right to work in UK
- Based in the Worcester or Gloucester regions
- Ability to lift upto 25KG
- Ability to use a handheld scanner to scan and sort parcels to tight time constraints – this is absolutely crucial for this role.
